Morientes believe that Saturday's 1-1 draw between the sides at the Bernabeu will give Madrid a psychological advantage as they control to the game by one point despite playing with ten men for the most part of the second half.

"I think that the momentum lies with Real Madrid after last weekend's match. The way in which they bounced back after being reduced to ten men showed that they have what it takes to beat Barcelona," said Morientes to Marca.

"Barcelona are no longer as strong as they were four or five months ago. I'm convinced that Real Madrid will beat them to win this year's Copa del Rey."
