Barcelona vs Real Madrid Copa Del Rey Finals Octopus IKER Prediction

Barcelona vs Real Madrid will overcome defeat for Real Madrid. The winners of the 2011 Copa del Rey final are Real Madrid,as predicted by Octopus Iker.

Octopus Iker was right on last week by predicting a draw for El Clasico. Real Madrid vs Barcelona certainly ended 1-1 as Octopus Iniesta lost his way to become the new Paul the Octopus.

Like a confident “Moises Eli” on Sport.es, some Barcelona followers have already are making funny story about making a soup with Octopus Iker if Real Madrid end up losing the 2011 Copa del Rey. Iker is a giant octopus of 2 meters long and is from the Pacific.

On Wednesday, Octopus Iker, who weights 16 kilos, took 10 minutes to pick the sardine that was inside the container representing Real Madrid.

Past Real Madrid Striker Fernando Morientes has uttered his thoughts that the Real Madrid Whites have what it takes to thrash adversary Messi Barcelona when they meet this Wednesday night in Copa del Rey final.

Fernando Morientes trust that last Saturday's 1-1 draw involving Barcelona and Real Madrid Ronaldo at the Bernabeu will give Madrid a emotional lead as they manage to draw the game by one point even though they are down with ten men for the majority part of the second half.

"I think that the momentum lies with Real Madrid after last weekend's match. The way in which they bounced back after being reduced to ten men showed that they have what it takes to beat Barcelona," said Morientes to Marca.

"Barcelona are no longer as strong as they were four or five months ago. I'm convinced that Real Madrid will beat them to win this year's Copa del Rey."

Chelsea vs Manchester United Preview

                                    Champions League
                                    18:45 GMT, April 12, 2011
                                    Old Trafford, England

Coach Carlo Ancelotti said that if we believe and willing to give everything we got then we can change history by making a Champions League comeback.

Ancellotti devise a tactical plan after losing to Manchester  United  1-0 at Stamford Bridge. If Chelsea can handle the mental stress going to the Old Trafford, then we can surely win.

The blu boss rally his player that they will be the first team to knock out Manchester United even though they lost the first leg of a tie at home. Their are only two teams who have done this feat and Chelsea will be the third team to win at Old Trafford.

Ancelotti said: "In Italy, we have a saying. 'If you have two, then you next have three'. They have to truly believe that we can win there. I don't know if they will be able to do this. But, at the start of the game, you have to believe that you can win.''

Ancelotti knows his side need to produce a near-flawless performance at Old Trafford if they are to overturn Wednesday night's first-leg defeat at Stamford Bridge.

"To win there, you have to do 100% in everything,'' he said. "And not just 100%, but you have to use personality, courage, you have to control the game.''

"Everyone is trying to resolve this problem we have individually,'' he said after watching his side stutter to a 1-0 win over Wigan on Saturday. "Obviously, it's better to stay in focus and work more with each other.''

Revealing he planned a forensic analysis of the first leg, he said: "I'll watch the game one, two or three times. I want to try to do something special for the next game.''

He would not resort to motivational tricks, however.

"I have to watch the game and prepare something that we can do to create difficulties,'' Ancelotti said. "I have to explain to the players the ability of the opposing team. They can go to the movies without me.''

Who else could it be? The United striker Wayne Rooney has been a fixture on the back pages since he uttered an obscenity against West Ham, but the pertinent detail from the victory at Upton Park should actually be the fact that it witnessed a brilliant hat-trick from the forward, who all too often this season has been far below his best. Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to leave both Javier Hernandez and Dimitar Berbatov on the bench for the away leg and use Rooney as a lone striker, so the focus, as always, will be on the England man. Will he turn the air blue or enjoy a red letter day?

Surprise at San Siro: Schalke beat Inter 2-5

Not even the most loyal fan of Schalke expected this win. Inter scored the opener with a superb shot by Dejan Stankovic and took an advantage again with their second goal netted by Milito. But the German squad, lead by veteran Raul Gonzalez, would achieve one of the most impressive comebacks in Champions League history.

Brazilian striker Edu was the hero of Schalke by scoring a double. The other German goals were netted by Matip, Raul, and an own goal by Ranocchia .

Even though there is one game left, Inter's coach Leonardo knows that it will be really tough for his team to qualify for the semifinals.

The first goal scored by Emmanuel Adebayor was the breaking point of the match, and it came very early in the first half. Real Madrid was an unstoppable machine of offensive football, with Ozil, Ronaldo and Adebayor leading the attack.

Peter Crouch's red card was the second factor that helped Madrid demolish their rival. Nothing was in favor of Tottenham at the Santiago Bernabeu. In the second half, Adebayor, Di María and Cristiano Ronaldo completed the result.

Karim Benzema out of Champions League duel against Spurs

French striker Karim Benzema had become one of the most important offensive cards of Mourinho, but doctors at Santiago Bernabeu comfirmed that the footballer will miss tomorrow's match between Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspurs.

"Benzema has no chance of playing in this game, he could not take part of the last training sessions" Mourinho stated to the press.

Some other key players are still in doubt, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo and Angel Di Maria. But Mourinho hopes that in the end they will be fit for the match.

Manchester United vs West Ham United Replay Highlights

Wayne Rooney will find out next week if he faces an English Premier League ban for celebrating his dramatic hat trick for Manchester United on Saturday with an expletive-filled outburst.

Rooney produced his finest performance of a disappointing campaign as the Red Devils came from two goals down to win 4-2 at West Ham and remain clear at the top of the EPL standings. But Rooney is in danger of missing one or more future matches due to antics following his third goal, when he screamed foul language directly into a television camera.

The incident forced Sky Sports – the primary broadcaster of soccer in the United Kingdom – to issue an immediate on-air apology. According to a source at the English Football Association, preliminary discussions have already been held to determine whether Rooney should be charged over his remarks.

United tried to take pre-emptive action late Saturday, with Rooney hastily issuing a statement in which he apologized for his behavior.

“I want to apologize for any offense that may have been taken from my goal celebration, especially any parents of children that were watching,” the statement read. “Emotions were running high and on reflection, my heat-of-the-moment reaction was inappropriate. It was not aimed at anyone in particular.”

India vs Sri Langka Replay Highlights

Gautam Gambhir compiled a nerveless 97 and skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni led by example with 91 not out from 79 balls as India defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets to claim their second World Cup crown in Mumbai.

The 1983 champions appeared to have their work cut out under the Wankhede Stadium lights when they slipped to 31 for two in pursuit of 275, with Lasith Malinga removing Virender Sehwag for a second-ball duck and Sachin Tendulkar for 18.

However, the composed Gambhir, who was dropped by a diving Nuwan Kulasekara at long-off on 30, played the anchor role to perfection and shared stands of 83 with Virat Kohli and 109 with Dhoni to turn the game in India’s favour.

Thisara Perera provided Sri Lanka with late hope when he bowled Gambhir with 52 still required, but Dhoni, finding form for the first time in the tournament, saw his side home with 10 balls remaining in the company of player of the tournament Yuvraj Singh, who finished unbeaten on 21.

India’s victory overshadowed a sublime unbeaten 103 from Mahela Jayawardene, who became the first man to score a century in a World Cup final and end on the losing side.
